About
The story of NOandROfilms
Tutorials, how-tos, vlogs and skits.
2012
The beginning
NOandROfilms was established by two brothers, Nolan and Roman, on January 26, 2012. They set out to create a YouTube channel built for entertainment.
Each brother developed his own contribution to the channel. Nolan took part in Roman’s skits and recorded his own guitar lesson videos, while Roman developed skits to film and focused on his daily vlogs.
This all changed over time, as we grew older.
Today
A long-running how-to channel
Welcome to NOandROfilms. Tutorials, how-tos, and the occasional review, plus editing, gear, and the tech that actually ends up on the timeline. A lot of the library lives on Macs and iPhones because that’s what I was cutting on: iMovie, Final Cut, phone video, upgrades, and the messy middle of learning the tools.
Not a fan club. Just a long-running how-to channel with real-world vlogs and skits. If you’re here for a specific edit, a repair, or an old walkthrough, you’re in the right place. Questions are welcome. Glad you’re here.
By spring 2016, new videos were going up every week, and the channel had moved away from skits, guitar lessons and vlogs toward tutorials and updates for the tools Roman was editing with.
